Best of Both
Pamplona to Santiago
For the 2018 season, we have listened to the suggestions of our prior pilgrims and made a few great changes.
First, we have upgraded much of our lodging.
We have also decided to start in Pamplona,
because not everyone wants to challenge the Pyrenees.
In Pamplona, we've booked two nights instead of one,
giving people the opportunity to get over their jet lag
and to explore this beautiful ancient city.
In addition, we've booked TWO nights in Santiago
at the end of the trip.
There is so much to see and do there,
including a ride to see Finisterra and Muxia if desired.
Those who do wish to cross the Pyrenees may do so on their own
with help from us at extra cost.
We will book your bus from Pamplona to SJPP,
and your lodging from SJPP back to Pamplona,
where you can meet up with the main group.
Spring is a beautiful time to walk the Camino!
The wildflowers are sometimes waist deep.
In Autumn, the fall colors are gorgeous,
and we sometimes find ourselves at wine festivals.
Both seasons have a variety of weather,
including hot days, cool days, sun, and rain.
